UDDI is a combination of White Pages (contacts, addresses, telephone numbers), Yellow Pages (listing by industry classification), and Green Pages (technical details of services offered). UDDI is indeed universal in scope, in that the services offered can be anything from a telephone number to a SOAP endpoint for a Web service.
